At the very low end, job posts on Freelancer.in show clients offering anywhere from ₹50 for a short clip to ₹400–₹1,200 per reel. Prices that low usually mean a template edit with little thought about the hook.
What does a monthly editing package cost?
Most brands and creators don't buy single reels; they buy a monthly package.

What pushes the price up?
The price follows the thinking, not the length of the clip.
- How much the editor decides for you. Cutting what you marked is cheap. Picking the best takes, writing the hook and structuring the story is not.
- Motion graphics. Animated keywords, price counters, lower thirds and logo stings take time to build.
- Number of clips. A single talking-head take is quick. A vlog or montage built from 40 phone clips takes hours of sorting.
- Captions in more than one language. Hindi, Hinglish or regional captions need someone who reads them well.
- Revisions. Most packages include one or two rounds. After that, every "small change" is billed or delayed.
